A.R.T.: Artistic Reflections Today

Artistic Reflections Today is an annual art show that takes place in the fall semester. This event is used as an opportunity to empower and educate University of Florida students by examining women's issues through a variety of artistic media. This day-long exhibit consists of an extensive display of artwork from the university and surrounding Gainesville community. This includes but is not limited to photography, paintings, sketches, pop art, ink and paper, watercolor and collages. Through their creative endeavor, artists are able to challenge the men and women of the University of Florida to look at women's leadership from a fresh perspective.

Students are encouraged to view the artwork and vote for pieces in a variety of categories and, in keeping with the mission of the Women's Leadership Council, confront any misconceptions about what it means to be a female leader in today's society.
