Tips for recruiting volunteers
The following resources are provided to community partners to assist in developing volunteer opportunities that are engaging and beneficial for both the organization and the UF community. The BCLS provides trainings that explore each of these topics in depth for community agencies looking to partner with the BCLS and UF community.
Recruiting and Managing Student Interns - The process of creating and maintaining an intern program is different than short term volunteers. Students may also be able to receive course credit for their work with your organization. This resource is designed to help with envisioning, recruiting, and managing intern positions.
Reflection Materials - The BCLS strongly believes in the importance of reflection and encourages all volunteers to reflect on their service experience. Reflecting is also a valuable tool for community agencies and volunteer coordinators.
