LeadUF is a foundational leadership experience where students will learn about, reflect on and develop their personal leadership framework. LeadUF is based on the understanding that leadership is a life-long journey developed by our experiences and engagement in the community and world.
The day-long retreats will be filled with interactive and hands-on activities that focus on leadership training. Participants will be part of small groups and paired with a Leadership Coach and LeadUF Alumni who serve as mentors throughout LeadUF. Bi-weekly meetings will focus on specific topics through small group discussions, engaging activities and talks from experts in the field. Topics covered include leadership theories, self-awareness, communication, diversity & inclusion, teamwork and social responsibility.
Registration is open and will close when we reach capacity. Confirmed LeadUF participants will be notified by the end of February 2018.

" I went to LeadUF with no expectations in mind and it ended up being one of the most truthful experiences I've had UF. " I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet other people and learn more about leadership. It also redefined my definition of a leader. It got me thinking about ways that I can be a better leader or just a better person in my community."
" So many stories were shared and everyone managed to open up about their lives, it was awesome to see such a large diverse group of people together sharing the same values."
