 Fall 2017 Volunteer Organization Fair

The Volunteer Organization Fair provides a place for students to find information about social issues and service opportunities they are passionate about. Each semester, over 60 community service organizations and non-profits attend. 


University of Florida Fall Day of Service

Saturday, October 21,

The Fall Day of Service is a single-day service project where hundreds of volunteers branch out into various areas of Gainesville to participate in exciting service projects, which can include working with animals, art and culture, youth development, elder care, environmental issues, homelessness and housing, and much more. Students will be able to learn about service opportunities in Gainesville, meet new people and network with campus leaders, and experience their community first-hand



Apply to be a Day of Service Site Leader

Applications open - Monday, August 28 - Friday, September 22

Fall Day of Service site leaders gain important leadership and facilitation experiences. They are essential to the success of Fall Day of Service! Training will be provided to include skills on volunteer motivation and reflection.  


Florida Alternative Breaks Issue Fair 

Tuesday, October 10

Want to start your Florida Alternative Breaks journey?  Come to Issue Fair, where it all begins!  We will be releasing our social issues and you can meet the Site Leaders for this coming year.  We have FAB trips going all over the Southeastern United States!  Sign-ups are first opening at this event, so don’t miss it!
