Dr. Bernie Machen and the Center for Leadership and Service created the University of Florida Presidential Service Award to recognize the valuable contributions student volunteers make in our community. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated commitment and been examples of true servant-leaders. This type of recognition incorporates President Bush's President's Volunteer Service Award designed to set a standard for every American and to encourage a sustained commitment to helping others and a lifelong habit of service. Selected recipients will be recognized at a formal awards ceremony at President Bernie Machen's House.
Student Award recipients receive:
• A golden gator pin
